Jo, Thanks so much for letting us know that you talked to Eric. I'm so distressed about his situation, as I know everyone on this board must be, especially those who have met Eric. I hope he promised to let us know immediately if he thinks of anything we can do to help out. I wish I COULD be there with my with a shovel to help him clean up!

I take it from your email to me earlier that no clothing items are needed at this time? He & the kids are okay in that regard? I know he has lost all his personal possessions & treasures that he hadn't yet moved out, though. I'm sure a great deal of that is irreplaceable, but if there is anything practical that we can send him, I feel safe in saying most of us would gladly pitch in and do so.
