: Oui, mon cher ami Miss Marcia,
>>Oh, MY, French Trader! How you DO go on!! *blush*
: I can assure you that, due to the lost cost, in which I paid, my prices will be much lower then any English Trader.
>>Well, this is certainly good news to a carefully frugal gentlelady such as myself.
: I also have a few things that you may have need of, in you fine kitchen, such as Spanish Chocolate and Muscavodo Sugar. These come from my close and secretive contacts in the Spanish Territory, Atascacito District, Tejas.
>>Oh, how exciting! I can make just tons & TONS of my famous DownHome Fuu-uuuudge with that delicious sounding chocolate and that wonderful sugar! How lucky we are that you have these wonderful contacts in the Spanish Territory! I wonder if the English Trader has any such contacts from which to procure fine trade goods...
: You may also add to this a fine French wine and Peach Brandy.
>>Won't I, JUST! Some fine wine or brandy would certainly be a pleasant thing to have for sipping, whilst sitting in the swing on my verandah, doncha know!
:I would not put much into the words of the English because they aren`t even sure where they want to be. They make excuses for the cold, yet we French control the lands of the North Country and the lands in the deep south. Putting the English in the middle. What must they think of themselves?
>>Oh, dear...this DOES sound like a bit of...ummm...rivalry might be building. Can Trade Wars be far off??? While Miss Marcia abhors the vulgarity of that sort of commerciality, it must be taken into account that prices DO tend to get better and better when competition increases. I shall be watching the proceedings MOST closely as G2K nears!
And thank you, Dear FT, for keeping me apprised of your plans for G2K. Do let me know if you come across any more wonderful items for trade...spices, herbs, and lovely china being of special interest to me, BTW.
