Oh, Sharon! I am SO sorry to hear about this! Please give my adopted son, Eric, my love, and tell him he will be in my prayers. I know this is an awful thing to go through, especially upon finding out that no contents were insured...but remind him (I know he KNOWS this) about a hundred times a day that he and his kids were NOT there when it happened, and therefore, his most precious of ALL "contents" were protected and safe!

Remember, this, too, shall pass. You will all get through it TOGETHER! And as for feeling helpless, DON'T! You can offer Eric love and support in abundance, and that's what he needs most to help him right now!
