G2K Raffle, Part II

Boy, I'm getting a lot of email from Mohicanlanders interested in both the Raffle and Ariel's Booth. Thanks SO much for your queries.

Due to popular demand (I've always wanted to say that!), we are happy to let you know that the Raffle will definitely be open to everyone. You need NOT be present at the Gathering to win! If you cannot attend the Gathering this year, but would like to participate in the Raffle, just send me your money ahead of time, and I'll fill out your tickets for you & drop them in the Raffle Box. Honest. REALLY. I promise I will not take your dollars and abscond to Aruba for the vacation of a lifetime! ;o)

Here's how it works. We will amass all the donated Raffle items & put them on display at the Gathering. We will have one large box for tickets. An item will be selected & a ticket drawn to determine the winner. It's that simple. The tickets will cost $1 each, and you may buy as many as you like. In fact, you are ENCOURAGED to buy as many as you like. The object is to help defray future Gathering costs, so we will be happy to sell you ticket, after ticket, after ticket. You don't even have to wait until the rest of the Gathering info goes up. If you send me $5.00 tomorrow, I will write your name on 5 tickets to go into the pot.

What could be easier, and more fun? Some great prizes were won last year, believe me! And there will be some really nice goodies available this year, too.

Is that the sound of an envelope full of ticket money being sealed I hear???
