Yes, I think at one time or another almost all of those discrepancies have been mentioned and discussed on this board! As for the British vacating the fort and the girls' hair...I always thought their hair "fell out" of their given styles over time, due to the trek...you know, they start out all done up, and then after a number of hours...which I'd guess that was, even though it was a matter of seconds for the viewer!...the hair just kind of falls down. I mean, bobby pins hadn't been invented yet! As for Alice's hair then suddenly being braided as they enter the cave, I don't have an explanation for that one! I think at one time we fantasized that, as they stopped and rested for a moment or two on the trek (NOT shown in the film!), Uncas sat by Alice and braided it for her. But, like I said, that was our desperate fantasy!!! :)
