I'm a well trained little Billygnome. I always put both seat and lid back down when I am finished. Why do I do that? Out of courtesy of course!! Nah, if the truth be known, once long ago (back in my twenties) I left both up, stumbled into the bathroom at o-dark-thirty one morning half asleep, and went to sit down in the dark.
KaPlunk! Splash! "Ah Sh-t!!!" said I. From that moment on, I knew why women got so upset about the male proclivity for NOT putting the seat down.
