It's been so long since I read the book, I can't remember all the differences. Several book characters are left completely out of the movie.

But the biggest diff I recall is that the pairs of people involved in love affairs -- er, rather, attractions -- are opposite in the book. Isn't it Cora & Uncas, and Alice & Duncan in the book? And doesn't Cora die? Like I said, it's been about, oh, 35 years since I read it!!!
