If you ever notice that "A Midwife's Tale" is going to air again please let us know. In the meantime, I think I'll read the book by Laurel Thatcher Ulrich. I thought that her name sounded familiar. When I got home from work and checked my bookshelf, I realized that I had read another one of her books "Good Wives,Image and Reality in the Lives of Women in Northern New England, 16550-1750." This book provides a remarkable look at women in colonial New England.

Myrrh: I checked the bibliography of "Founding Mothers & Fathers" and I'm sorry to say that I found no references to any material dating as far back as the 14th century. Good luck with your research and good luck writing your story.
