: : : : I would like to take this time as well to wish all my Mohicanland family a very Happy New Year and I hope that you were able to give the one you love a tender kiss at midnite or at least been thinking of them if apart. I know I was.
: : : : I was and still am at Natty Bumpo`s Tavern. Seems that the English and Dutch Traders as well as Elaine, talked me into getting away from my fine French wines and started drinking their rum and brandy. I remember falling asleep in the corner around 2:00am. I`m not sure what all I did. I think I still have most everything I came in with. Can someone tell me if I had my red breechclout or my new black trimmed in white ribbons and silver? Oh well, never mind. I`ll find them later. I have to make it back to my canoe. The river is calling my name.

: : : My Dear French Trader:
: : : The blame is NOT mine -- I assure you. It was those Rascally Rangers who forced their scrub upon me again and again. Nor did it help that the stuff tastes so good!
: : : Did you by chance lose a small knife? For when I awoke in the Green Mountains (God and the Angels alone know how I ended up there), a knife not mine was with me. Perchance it is yours, sir?

: : English Trader,
: : I thank you for clearing that up. Never trust those Rangers while in a tavern. I wasn`t going to mention it after all this trading I must do to get my bree...sligshot back but I have missplaced a small blade. After this trade is all cleared up we shall work a deal for it`s return.

: What-ta-heck? Just woke up in the ruins of Bumpo's, and all my trading buddies are alreay at work? What date is it anyway? French Trader, that was some awesome wine, I guess! But where was the Canuck? DT me thinks, we should meet soon to talk business. Cameron's? Midnight?

My Dearest Dutch Trader:
You have been TOO QUIET these many weeks. It was truly wonderful to celebrate with you and the FT at the Tavern. Are you only now recuperating? Perhaps you would be so good as to look around for my balmoral hat? It seems to have disappeared. My sense of it is that the FT might have been using it in place of his misplaced breech-cloth, in which case I'm not sure I want it back!!!
And you, my friend: Are you ready to wheel and deal about the Trading Post?
Happy New Year to you!
YMH&OS,
English Trader
