: Meanwhile, a visitor has informed us of a video that might be of interest to some. Performing traditional-style Scottish music, set in beautiful Scotland - with various aerial views, etc. - are the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. Included on this video are their renditions of "The Last of the Mohicans Main Theme" & "The Gael." Sounds great. You can visit the Web Site of the folks who produced it, and other CD's & videos, at:
: Another visitor has donated some more photos of the film's fort location during construction. We've added those to the already very comprehensive "Filming At Lake James" Page ... Visit there at:

: And, we've filled out this year's Christmas "Card" with several more wonderful contributions. Hopefully, even more of you will send along a little something in time for Christmas. See the link below to see who has been added so far! Thanks to all of you for these pics, songs, poems, & sentiments! ... and, for the real Christmas Cards we've received!
: Late last night, Collin posted his impressions of Cooper's "The Deerslayer" here on the Board ... Hope all of you reading along can comment on his comments ... He said some interesting things!
: Marcia .... WHERE ARE YOU??? Anyone hear from her? Or, the Doc? Wondering if they contracted the same virus!
: More on the DVD: Our poll, though still showing relatively sparce results, is approaching 50/50, with those who call themselves "satisfied" with it still holding a slim lead. As you know, we fully enjoyed it for what it was, however ... Now that I've watched a few more DVD titles I have another comment. Recently saw another of my all-time favorites, "Rob Roy," plus two horror classic remakes, "Psycho," & "The Mummy." "Rob Roy," though it does include a theatrical trailer, is pretty much "just" the movie as you see on video, with the much improved quality that DVD offers. The other two, in particular "The Mummy," are chock full of extras like deleted scenes, interviews, "The making of ..." (in some great detail), screensavers, themed goodies of all kinds for the computer ... Oh, the possibilities for "The Last of the Mohicans"! Now that I've seen what COULD have been ... Oh well. Seems like a blown opportunity!
: And so ... Would just like to thank you all for your long-standing support of this Web Site. It's been nearly 3 years now, and some of you have been with us about that long! We truly, TRULY, appreciate all that each of you has done to make this place work! We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a special New Year, as we experience together a once-in-a-lifetime event, entering a new Century, not to mention a new Millennium! Hope to see you all around MohicanLand for a long time to come! Enjoy your Holidays and your time with your families. Be thankful for all that you have, and remember to spread good will & cheer wherever you go!
: Happy Trails!
