I love this time of year. I wonder what Christmas would have been like for Hawkeye, Cora, etc.

Let's see.......Hawkeye and Cora would be maybe wrapping gifts for their little ones...in deerskin and pretty bows from Cora's
old and tattered dress. Cora's wish list includes a NEW dress, and the wish that Hawkeye would please God just change his loincloth finally!

Magua would be hanging majors by the fire with care.

Col Munro's heart wouldn't be in the right place this Christmas season.

Col Webb would be sneaking into all the cabins and stealing the presents, trees, stockings, lights etc and putting them into his bag so there would BE NO Christmas this year.

The French would be raising such a clatter that the folks in Ft Wm Henry would be springing from their beds to see what was the matter.

General Montcalm would be visited by three ghosts
with Uncas being the ghost of Mohican Past, Alice being the ghost of Mohican present, and the major being the ghost of Mohican yet to come.
