: Little cat?? LITTLE cat??? Are you speaking of the COUGAR, Daner Dear? You mean you've never seen the cougar before? Boy, your video must really have been dark. I've always loved seeing (and hearing) him. Though I seriously doubt that any self-respecting cougar would have been caught so close to a big ol' group of marching soldiers & stomping horses like that.
: I've always thought the darkness of the scenes in the video added to the mystery of the story, but I confess on a 45" screen, it probably is much clearer than on many tv's, so I've had a bit of an advantage, there. And the clarity of the dvd IS very nice most of the time. Though there were a couple places where it seemed a bit too bright to me, overall it has the advantage of showing off a lot more detail. It was nice to be able to see a bit more of the Ottawas as they followed our group to the fort, for instance. I could always see them coming down that hill, but on the dvd, they showed up as nicely as they do in the theater. I've never had any trouble seeing Hawkeye & Chingachgook in the water, but some parts of the scene in the glade were always a bit too dark. It took me several viewings to figure out it was Uncas grabbing Alice when they are threatened in that scene. But the prettiest shot on the dvd to me is when they are running to the river through the smoke of battle...very nice image, doncha think?

Hellooooo, MMMMarcia!
This is 'SEW' neat. With the DVD I can just 'point and click' my way to the scene you are refering to. I'll check it out as soon as my husband shows me how to work the thing. I wanted to play with it again anyway. I am really going to enjoy getting a closer look at the costumes, too.
BTW, I DO enjoy the DVD, but I just wanted to say how sorry I am that it didn't meet up with certain expectations. I feel just awful for those of you who wanted more added and less deleted.
