: Serge-In my book, the undisputed chronicler/portraiteur of Native Dance is Ben Marra. Since 1988, Ben and his wife, Linda, have traveled all over the U.S. photographing dancers and doing formal portraits. He publishes two calendars each year, one dance the other a pow wow calendar featuring posed portraits and comments by the dancers on why they dance. His book 'Powwow...Images Along the Red Road' is spectacular and contains over 100 color photographs and personal narratives of dancers. I strongly recommend his book and his calendars.
