: Hey Byron, what you hear is Gaelic: fantastic, pure, unadulterated and Clannad at their best. Enya's sister Mary is part of Clannad and her voice contributes greatly to the sound on this track. Of course, the studio effects give it an added dimension. Try and pick up Clannad's 'Anam'. I believe Rich and Elaine offer it through the trading post. I've worn out my copy. Danalee
: : This concerns the version of the movie that has the Clannad song in it. Does anyone know why the song in the movie is completely different from the song on the soundtrack? For one thing, some of the chorus is sung in a different language -- Instead of "no matter where you go" its something else -- Native American perhaps?
: : I thought that the movie version was so beautiful. Why didn't they put that on the soundtrack?

(Mary) Moire (pronounced Moya) has also released some solo tapes/CD's, which are beautiful, for example one simply entitled 'Moire', which you might enjoy.
Best wishes,
Kate.
