THIS I can agree with, Danalee. I could definitely see all of the night scenes more clearly. And once I get a decent sound setup, that problem will surely go away. I can even get used to Chingachgook's wordy & utterly unnecessary (to me) speech at the end...IF, IF, IF he hadn't lopped out so many other things that I love, from Hawkeye's lines to Clannad. But when I get my REAL dvd player, I'm sure I will enjoy having this version in my collection, too. (But I still think calling it a DIRECTOR'S cut is completely misleading.)
