Another Review Of The LOTM Director's Cut

I have to say that I'm happy to see some slightly more positive impressions of this new release begin to surface! Sad to say, we STILL haven't seen it! :(((( Still waiting on delivery!

Seems the video & sound are the best yet & there ARE new things ... so, I remain intrigued. Of course, it is apparent that it's not close to being what we had hoped for in the way of restored missing footage, but, all in all, I still remain anxious! It is good that it has appeared on DVD, sure to be replacing VHS over time. When I watch it for the first time, I want to try, hard as it may be, to imagine how I would have reacted had this been the way I FIRST viewed it!

As soon as we do see it, we'll update the DC Page with our review, for whatever that may be worth ...

Meanwhile, here's a review we found on the Net. Notice the clarity of the screen captures! ... Oh, and the day we spoke to Forward Pass, back in August, we were told that Michael Mann had just finished work on it that weekend. For better or for worse, we believe this final product IS his work!
