: I know you have been out of it a bit in recent months, but really, child, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN??? :>)))) Did you not know the Director's Cut is the version coming out on DVD?  See Rich's "I guess we did it" post below.

: So, yup, lots of happy campers and trekkers.  I ordered mine in the summer for $17.99 but I don't think you can get that price now, not with all of us having pre-ordered long before any of the announcements went out!!  They twigged they're on to something.  Anyway, you might consider ordering via this website at Amazon.com.  Rich says you can rent DVD players (and then tape it), but I haven't looked into that.  I've been scoping out players to buy, trying to find best value for $.  Email me if you want to know what I've found.
