Night Sky, your farm looks like a slice of heaven to me! Utterly beautiful. I would be so torn between finding out more about the original inhabitants of the land (via a dig) and preserving the beauty and peace of the setting, as is! Probably the side that wanted it left unspoiled would win for ME, too. Wouldn't it be great if we could just see THROUGH the ground & find out what clues are buried there, without disturbing anything?

I love the pictures of your creek and your beautiful flowers, too. Your cosmos and day lilies are lovely, and must be a treat to behold when in full bloom.
