The book I referred to was a small, very informative narrative I bought at the "Ninty-Six" Historic Site..it is proabably available on Amazon.com. It gives all battle manouvers including all river crossing areas and locations. The battle took place in Jan.and there is an annual encampment and demonstrations held there every year. Any other questions I'll try to answer.. but didn't understand the reference about the horse/cows..
