I agree with you and Jo, et al., that LOTM did a lot to educate people about a phase of history that might not have been covered in school....I know that, previous to LOTM, I don't recall having learned anything about it, except that it happened, and who the antagonists were. (Keep in mind, however, that most of what I learned in school I no longer remember! Anyway, I've always had a tendency to remember how I FEEL about things, general impressions, and not facts so much.) I do remember thinking, even back then as a tender sprout, that "French & Indian War" was a misnomer! As if British mindset was 'make the world England' or something! :)
Broken Chain, I thought, was very well done for a TV movie. Very good work on Eric Schweig's part, and more education for everyone!
How wonderful to be spending Thanksgiving living the 18th century in Williamsburg! Have a great time!
