Hi Marcia and Bill,

It's a great movie. How many others can boast of 3 Academy Award winners in the cast. (Has Mel ever won one? If so, that makes 4.)

Parts of it were filmed on the island of Moorea, near Tahiti. It is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I read that DDL didn't like it there. The weather was awful and everyone's spirits were in the dumps. I could hardly imagine that. It's like a magical place to me. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
