: Since it's a kinda slow day on the Ol' Board, I thought I'd share a few more fall pictures from my North Carolina trek last week.  We only had one day of misty rain & gray skies, but even it was absolutely beautiful, as you can see from the above picture.  Those "smoke signals" in the distance are actually wispy clouds trailing down from the sky into the valley below.  We drove in and out of them all along the Parkway, heading up to the Pisgah Inn for lunch.
