Hmmmmmmmm...thinking....thiiiiiiiiiiinking.....would it be possible to fabricate the expensive parts from wood? Or paint? It IS just for show, and all? Or would it be too labor intensive to be worth the extra work?

Obviously, you must finish your orders first and foremost, and I certainly hope you have more waiting upon their completion. But it would be nifty if you could think of a way to salvage the piece when accidents happen. While we all cogitate on a possible solution, hang on to that thar cracked stock. No burning it in Lainey's fire for at least two days an' a bit whilst we ponder!
