...and boy, is Doc M really sick of being wise, warm, and
wonderful. It interferes with her usual crabby, cynical,
evil-minded nature. So the next one of ye that gets out
of line will be hit over the head with a big pointy rock
and tossed out behind Bumppo's to reconsider. That includes
Doc M, of course, who has been tossed out behind Bumppo's
more times than she cares to remember. I think the last
time was after the unfortunate case of the Topless Billiards
Tournament with General Webb, who is a notorious sore loser.
And what's this talk of whips? Don't toy with Doctor Mary...
you know very well if she hears the crack of a whip she
starts snorting and pawing the ground like an old firehorse.
Lastly, three cheers for our handy Billy Gnome, for his major
accomplishment in finishing Kildeer! Ok, so he can't lift it
and it's bigger than he is...so what? I hereby render upon him,
by the power vested to me by nobody, the official title of
The Gnome Carabine!
