: Hi Rebecca,
: I am totally into Quannah Parker. Did you read "Ride the Wind"? Sorry if I asked you this a long time ago, but I am not sure if I had mentioned it.
: I have read everything I can get my hands on about him. He was an incredible being. There is more and more on the internet about him these days.
: How did you get a hold of the video you mentioned? I would like to see it as well.
: I have a documentary on Quannah that I got from PBS. It was ok, but I wish it had been more "in depth". I would be happy to lend it your way. Send me your address, as I am not sure where I put it.
: Here is an interesting link to one of the many "Quannah" sites I have bookmarked.
: I sure the weather will cool down by next week, but it doesn't get as cold as it does in Canada. We never get snow.
: Have a great rest of the day,
: Ayesha
Hi Ayesha,
No, I haven't read RIDE THE WIND. What it is all about?
Yes, Quanah seems like he was a fascinating man!! I found the video at my local library, it was part of a set, narrated and produced by Kris Kristofferson. As I said before the stories of Standing Bear, Quanah Parker and also Washakie ( Shoshone chief) really touched me...I'd love to find out more about all of them and yes,I'd be very interested in the Quanah documentary!! I'll e-mail you tomorrow about it,ok?
Thanks for the link!!!
Have a good night,
Rebecca
