The Old Crone is Dead

The Old Crone is dead. Her friends carried her wattle hut and it's contents to Lake George, set it aflame and adrift, her body in it. She spoke her mind honestly and with few words. She was kind-hearted and generous. She loved everyone and was kind to all.
Her friends have moved on to greener meadows and clearer waters. They search for a better place where people are kind and considerate of each other.
