Rebecca, after reading the info on the site you mentioned, I found myself very curious to learn more about this guy. Do you suppose he felt his conservation view would be taken more seriously if people thought he was a native? Or do you think he just wanted to be one so badly, he convinced everyone, and possibly himself, too, that he WAS?
