: : About the hair thing, Silver Wolf.  From what I have read (which ain't a whole heck of a lot) native americans shaved their heads save for one section called a scalplock(?)when they were at war.  In LOTM I noticed most of the actors who attacked in the valley wore their hair in this manner.  There was one who did not, and he stuck out like a sore thumb.  As a re-enactor, I think one would have to be quite dedicated to wear their hair like this all the time.  So, how do you wear your hair? 

: : Another hair question.  In one of the fort scenes in the film, there is a warrior sitting by a fire smoking a pipe or something.  As he blows smoke out, he kind of rubs it on his head.  What's THAT all about?
