Does anyone else remember the BBC/Masterpiece Theatre production from 1971/72? [I'm dating myself!] I remember being impressed with that LOTM production although I haven't seen it since and can't really compare it to 'our favorite' movie. I looked at a cast list from the BBC production and none of the names are even vaguely familiar now, and after living in Scotland and Australia back in the seventies I don't recall them being household names then, either.
