My home away from home was a 16' tipi but I moved into a new Bakers tent this spring. I had a guy I was camping next to one weekend tell me I reminded him of the guy in the LOTM, with my ways and actions. I also enjoy going to schools and doing demos there to help the younger generation learn about the natives of our area. I'll get some pics scanned and get them posted asap. Its been great to cross paths with you guys and am really loking forward to putting faces with names at the next gathering.

Are you going to be at Pound Ridge in October? It's not too far from where I live in NY and I'm planning to go. I've been visiting the Grand Encampments at Ticonderoga and Crown Point, and am fascinated with the entire event. I'm also going to be at the Festival of the Harvest Moon at Ti in October. Let me know if you will be at either of these.

By the way, when Donna and I told Clabert we wanted to meet him at Ti he was reluctant until we told him to find our pictures on the 1999 Gathering pages and see we aren't anomolies of nature or anything. Feel free to do the same! :>)
