Now I DID warn you people that delegating the morning post to an old fart had its drawbacks. I ain't some spring chicken you know, of any color, green included. (and by the way, to a two foot gnome, a stuffed parrot would be like a 30 lb turkey ya know.)

But back to the subject (we old people do that a lot too, drift in and out of subject and conversation).

OH! yeah, so anyways yes I did sleep in this morning. Nobody knew it cause I was a stoic old fart, but I had looseness of the gooseness for FOUR (count em - yes 4) days beginning last Friday.
That kinda took the stuffing outta me if you know where I am heading. Spent two days either in bed or on the throne. Am still trying to get my old peppy energy back. Betty is giving me gator-aid intravenously, making me eat yogurt (what IS that crap anyways) and otherwise abusing me with health-conscious foods and programs. Word to the wise to all you old gents out there - forget younger women. they got too dang much energy. Word number two to the wise - nurses are great people - top of the line - but don't let one into your house and for DANG sure, don't
let one into your LIFE unless you have beforehand a contractual agreement that they will NOT be allowed to change your life toward the healthy one iota from your previous gluttony, caloric, good-tasting previous lifestyle.

Okay, I drift again. Do that a lot lately.

So, now, Jo - arent you glad you asked. JO? JO? WAKE UP!!!

I do that a lot too, put people to sleep.
