: For those who think Floyd is over and gone, let me tell you, it ain't so! The areas of severe flooding are apparently horrendous, and hundreds upon hundreds of homes are completely lost. Several people who work for her had to be helicoptered out of their flooded homes, shelters are still filled to overflowing with people who have no homes left to return to, and fish are swimming in the streets. The Greenville area is very hard hit, and President Clinton was just there today. This is the worst flood maybe EVER in that part of the world, and it has even reached the 500-year flood plain level.

: Luckily, neither Diana nor Cecelia lost anything but their electrical power, which is still out and will be for a good while yet, probably. As I mentioned, Diana can't get to any stores, and is living pretty much on what she had in the pantry. She has discovered that even a 4-wheel has its limits when the water is deep and trees are laying across the roads and power lines are down.

: I hope you folks who know what sweet people Diana & Cecelia are will say a prayer of thanks that they were spared, and will also send prayers to those who are still stranded & waiting to be airlifted out of danger, and those who have lost their homes & possessions. We in Florida were certainly blessed when Floyd passed us by!

: Diana also asked me to tell you all how much she misses reading your posts daily, and to thank Rich for his decision to keep everything going here. She said, and I quote, "If I had managed to survive Floyd, but got back to work to find Mohicanland gone, it would have just been the last straw!!"

Hi MMMM!

Thank you *sew* much for posting that wonderful news!! So � Diana and Cecelia are safe � great!! We have been SEW WORRIED!! The conditions they are being forced to live in, sound just awful! But � weighed up against the fact they are safe, it seems a small price to pay!! Oh that we were there to �pitch in�! Yes sir � a lot of prayers have been answered today in Mohicanland!!

Hey, when next you speak to Diana or Cecelia or ANY of our friends out that way, give them our love and tell them we were asking for them!!
