Dear Thankful Daniels,

So many reasons to be thankful. I am in awe of Miss Mary Bye's either selfless or senseless, whatever, action to keep this place going strong.
The Dutch Trader is on her way back to Mohicanland and sends her regards. She was so moved by Miss Mary Bye's emotional outburst that she spontaneously barfed out a new ditty which is titled:

The Ballad of Miss Mary Bye

Miss Mary Bye, who knows why
With just one word saved our site
Never again said Mary Bye
She goes around now saying Hi
