Hurons, Sioux or what in Wisconsin?

Greetings LOTMers.

It looks like Betty and myself will be moving to Wisconsin next summer or early fall. It seems she wants to be closer to her children. I can't blame her for that, and it would also put me within driving distance of my own children.

It does bring up the questions though....are there any LOTMers in the Wisconsin area? What tribes were known to frequent that area. I know the French were dominant up until they lost Canada and for sometime afterward.

My, this clan has done some moving over the past several years. First Pennsylvania for me, then Iowa, then Pennsylvania, then Iowa, then we all move to California, and now we (Betty and I) move to Wisconsin.
Sheesh. You'd think Sherrif Tweeg was after us the way we keep skipping to other states.

What does this mean for the Gathering 2000? I have no idea. We could be there and we might not. I could be there presenting the current (at that time) Killdeer to someone, or I could be in the lakes region wishing I was there. We shall have to see. And if I we are going to be there....I have to decide whether to attire myself as frontiersman or as Gnome!
