: I understand you are experiencing a hurricane in Mohicanland and that the home of the world reknown and beloved Mademoiselle Marcia is threatened with innundation and annihilation.  We can not have this!  Non, non!

: Therefore, I have seen fit to dispatch my niece, Mademoiselle Jeanne D'Arc, to the rescue.  Even as I write she has navigated her birchbark ark down Champlain, past the Lac du Sacrement and into the picturesque but Indian infested waters of the mighty Mohawk on her way to Mohicanland.   Having studied under that celebrated artist of civil engineering, Van D'ike (who made such a name for himself in the Netherlands), I trust she will be of use to you in battling the storm and shoring up the ramparts.  Please keep her away from campfires, however, as they tend to make her very antsy, and that is a bad thing.
