I have given up trying to reread Cooper's LOTM. Every time I pick it up, fully intending to get through it, I simply can't. After Mann's LOTM - Cooper is a disappointment (sorry Gayle). I enjoy his other books, but I've come to realize I will never be able to enjoy reading LOTM again - the movie was just too perfect and too different from the original.
