Why, just yesterday evening, I was walking along the foaming, splashing, tinkling, frothing, salmon-leaping riverbank, and I thought to myself, "Self, where the heck has our one and only Towne Cryer gotten herself off to?" I'm SEW glad to see that you are safe and sound, somewhere...but the questions IS, when the heck are you gonna be able to don your black satin crying outfit, and patrol the lanes of our little village again? We have sadly missed your crying and bell ringing! I'd spring for the gold epaulets MYOWNSELF if you'd find a way to take up your old job again! I'm, quite frankly, getting tired of Miss Paddletale's squawking and quacking hysterically over the silliest of things, and since you've left, she's the only one we have!
