I don't know that I favor a love scene between Uncas and Alice, at least not while they are in the cave. It seems utterly inappropriate and implausible the way it was originally scripted...can't imagine they would actually have made love under those circumstances. Sure wouldn't say much for Uncas's trustworthiness as a "lookout" for Magua & crew, now would it? It would be nice to see a kiss, perhaps, or something to show their attachment in a little more detail...just not the graphic actions described in that script. Not for ME, anyway.

I'd definitely like more of the battle footage, especially Duncan's diversion! I like those scenes almost as much as Mark does. So dramatic! And the scene where Duncan gets shot in the leg could be shown more clearly. Even the scene where Uncas changes canoes, which is so confusing the first few times you see the film. Hmmmmm...it's starting to sound like this film needs a LOT of work! Maybe it shouldn't stay as it lays after all!

I reckon we'll all be speculating from now until the Sacred Day of DVD Release!
