Hi! I'm new here, & I like what I've seen so far!

I loved LOTM, and also "Stolen Women, Captured Hearts". So I decided to look for more information about this "true" story.
I searched for Anna Brewster Morgan, and sure enough, she was for real. But the ending to her true story was very different than that in the movie (surprise, surprise)-- much sadder. : (

And no, she did not end up with "Tokala". (sorry, fans!)

I am an incurable romantic, and not really a purist, but it got me to thinking about how movies change the endings of a true story (Stolen Women...) or a piece of literature (LOTM). In LOTM, I much prefer the movie to the book, so I don't mind the changes. My romantic side will always rule!
