: Well, guys, (just catching up to reading all of the posts here!) I thought I was the only one with a Blue Cheer record (vinyl, of course) stacked next to my "Golden Road to Unlimited Devotion" 45......what memories and what a time it was! Our "5th sister" lived at 716 (or maybe 714) Ashbury so I do fondly remember the trips over to see her in such an interesting neighborhood (!); with Pig Pen sitting out on the stoop next door (or maybe a door or two up...this was a loooong time ago!) (the GGGGG brain has lost a few cells). Ayesha, great to hear about the Family Dog and Chet Helms and whatnot; after so many years; what do you know about that Wild West show???? Champ; good to read your posts since you're 'just about' still around - (forgot I had ever heard about the Merry Pranksters!!!) Even I was once, and only once on stage playing a bass guitar; it was a trip! Thanks for the memories - meanwhile back to laundry; tv guide reading; dusting; .......
: What does this have to do with LOTM: just call us the "frontier" out here...(a breed apart...)

Hi Jo,
I lived on the 600 block of Ashbury Street. So there were neighbors I didn't know, or maybe we all knew each other back then, but because that was 30 years ago, we can't remember. They say if you remember the 60's, you were not really there!!!!
Pig Pen spent a lot of time at our house. We have such fond memories of him, way back when!
So Jo, there is another kindred spirit on the LOTM board (more 60's stories for around the camp fire at the next gathering (lots of fun)!
I will get your pictures done soon. I need your address to send them to. You can email me anytime with it.
By the way, there is a fun article in on Woodstock in People magazine this week. There are some present day pictures of people who were there and one's of them back in the 60's.
All the best,
Ayesha
