: I should HOPE not, Lassie! It wouldn't do at all for Miss Katie O'Arbroath to be seen walking around in a LOINCLOTH, for Pete's sake!! Something with a bit more decorum to it...more staid and proper! A nice lindsey-woolsey skirt & linen bodice, or something in calico, mayhap...with a ruffled white mobcap. Now that's the ticket!! Loincloth, indeed! *me, stomping around and muttering under my breath at the thought of wasting a perfectly good loincloth on the likes o' Miss Katie!!*

Hey, Miss!
Excuse me? 'A bit more decorum' indeed!! Miss Katie knows all about the latest styles! She has good, European culture and breeding and knows EXACTLY how to dress for every occasion!! She KNOWS what is in vogue - and I can assure you, she will be dressed accordingly!! And in the high society from which she originates, that society DOES NOT wear ANYTHING 'lindsey-woolsey, linen or calico'!!! Brocades, silks, satins and organza - THAT is the material of breeding!!
And 'busoms' being exposed a la Cora Monro, is definitely 'de rigueur'!! After all, what is good enough for Miss Cora, is definitely good enough for Miss Katie!! Good grief, who wants to be 'staid and proper'!! Miss Marcia - as they will say in 1999 - get a grip!!
Therefore, it behoves me to announce to all in Mohicanland, Miss Katie will have few quilts ready for the coming Winter as she will be employed in getting together her 'wardrobe' for her sojourn up to Chimney Rock come next Summer. Therefore, those in need of some bedding, best come now and be assured of fulfilling their needs!!
Yours most emphatically fashionable,
Miss Katie!!
