: : Petra,
: : Your hubby and mine ought to get together....IF mine were to sit down and watch this movie; I'd have no peace what so ever!
: Hi Petra and Jo,
: I must have been really lucky. Mine sat through the whole thing quietly and then initiated a discussion of why Anna would prefer to stay with Tokala than with Daniel and we compared the attributes of each (you know, each was competent in his own world and would be a good provider, etc; that sort of thing. :o)) It was an interesting and (surprisingly) serious discussion.
: Am I lucky, or what?
: Chris
Yes Chris, sure sounds like you're lucky. Jo, I can relate... And in our case, since my husband knows that regarding movies my taste is different than his, he often has that attitude "Well, if she likes it, I bet I'll dislike it." Oh, how was he lamenting when I finally pushed my just bought copy of "Smoke Signals" into the VCR, and that even though he got me the gift certificate to buy it. "Do I really have to watch that?" he complained, but there was no escape and the computer was occupied by our kid, so he stayed. And, guess what, he liked it... Even though he didn't admit it right away. :-)
Now, making the circle back to the movie star: A while ago, I was browsing the "FAQs" on a fan-page for Michael Greyeyes, where he had answered lots of questions. Can it be true that there is a man with such perfect taste? Favorite book "Siddharta", likes to stay home and watch movies with his wife, wants to travel to Italy because it's romantic (What, no off-road vehicle involved, not because of the beach-life, but because it's ROMANTIC?!), likes to dance Latin because he can do that with his wife,... Awwwww...
Lucky wife.
