: In Glen Jones's letter, the part about having the same scenerio with Blacks instead of Indians is something I've noticed too. It's like what I had mentioned in my earlier post on the subject, that is we hear about injustices done to Blacks, Hispanics, Gays, etc., all too often and in comparisen very little about modern day injustices done to Native People. For a long time, in my own naive way of thinking, since I had heard so little, I had presumed that prejudices no longer occured between Indians and Whites, I know now after reading and listening that, sadly it is still very prevelent, only it seems to be "swept under the rug", by the media. It seems the media tends to put their own spin on things, maybe it just isn't "politically correct" to be reporting on Native concerns. Is this my imagination; I just wonder, why this is ?
