: Hi, Judy!  For shame, girl...NOT!  He IS absolutely at his finest in LOTM, loincloth and all, isn't he?  But I am with YOU in the way he looks in Age of Innocence...absolutely dashing & wonderful in those clothes.  Very elegant!  In Room With a View, though the clothing is also elegant, he is a little less...shall we say...romantic, as Cecil is such a TWIT!  I LOVE the scene where he is in the background dancing around & swatting at the bee with his little book.  And the pince-nez is just WONDERFUL.  Not to mention the scene where he asks PERMISSION to kiss Helena Bonham-Carter, and then gives her the most awkward & silly little peck you ever saw!  Quite the contrast with that hungry kiss in LOTM, eh?

: As for the ending of Innocence, not wanting to give too much away to Jessica, it IS very moving.  Of course, I cry most of the way through the movie every time I watch it.  DDL suffers so eloquently!!  All that repressed passion, doncha know!  (It just makes Mark angry...he just shouts things at Newland like, "Grab her and RUN, man!!"  Then he storms out of the room, denouncing the entire Victorian Era as the celebration of Manners Over Mind!)

: Keep posting, girl!  And save those pennies for G2000...we expect you to be there for longer than ONE evening!
