Well, I tried. Yon oak tree looks pretty good to me. It don't ask me to do no dam chicken dance, it don't ask what is on the blanket, and it don't confer with the other oak trees as to whether I am worthy to be in its shade. Howsomever, I venture to say that since I deal in firelocks, with many spread on my blanket, once under the tree I won't be budged, if'n you get my drift.
Mights be this was how free traders came to be? Not having to ask a by your leave of anybody......

: Dear Sir:
: First, I wish to remind you of specific Rules of Membership to the Traders Guild, which are outlined in the Link below, as established by my Dear Collegues, the CT and DT, with the provision that the Skunk be Dead (as you will see below) and while I would like to insist that you maintain Alphabetic Linearity (my own personal favourite, being pedantically inclined) our Absent Otto Mani Trader quite overthrows that requirement.
: Second, beyond these criteria, well I must say that the Horican's all trapped out and therefore additional traders in fur will not be smiled upon (nor should they profit on such meagre resources). Additionally, you will have to do better than trade with wampum and brandy before we shall consider your supplication.
: Allow me to confer and cogitate with my Associates, and we will respond forthwith.
: Your respectfully,
: English Trader
