: : Champ,

: Why would a movie company spend all the time and money on extras when there are para-professionals such as you all who know how to do it so well? It seems reasonable to me that the movie-makers wanting to be " authentic" would benefit from those who do "authentic" on a regular basis. I think you all aught to look into that, and make some extra money in films!
>Actually your close to the mark....what with the price of film making getting higher (etc), if it werent for reenactors with authentic clothing, weapons, etc, etc, alot of "costume dramas" today couldnt be made like in the days of yore...
: : Of course, having said that, if it weren't for the Mann and LOTM, we wouldn't have our Soldier #2!!

>True.....at the same time there were reenactors as "background extras" in LOTM as well :-)

: Well, when I got home from Ti, I had an application waiting for me to fill out for extras needed in South Carolina for a Rev War movie staring Mel Gibson. I sent it in knowing I can`t get off work even if they do want me.
