Thank you, for all the info. Just this morning, on page 4 of our local Sunday paper, I caught an article on the arrest. I felt the aftermath of the arrest was played down somewhat as the article just mentioned that the demonstration "ended peacefully" and that Means and the others "will probably be given misdemeanor citations". it helps to get a true perspective on what is really happening, there is so much that I do not know about the Native situation

and I want to educate myself more on these matters. The mainstream media says very little, it seems about Native American issues, I mean we hear about African Americans and Hispanics and gays , etc., however we don't seem to hear as much on the First Nations of our country. This seems ironic and very wrong to me, its almost like Native issues and problems are hushed up or something. Is this only my imagination or are others aware of this too?! BTW, are you a Native American, I noticed under your name you wrote "Southern Cherokee Nation", do you belong to that tribe?
