: : : :Okay so, I am a major Luddite--I confess!!!! I buckled under and got a CD player in '92 JUST so I could listen to my LOTM soundtrack. I finally got online in July '98 JUST so I could locate other Mohicanites. NOW it looks as though I will be forced into the new realm of DVD technology--JUST so I can see The Director's Cut if/when it is released! Obviously if it weren't for LOTM, I would still be in a cave.....

Shortly after visiting Chimney Rock and being swept away by LOTM and its beautiful NC scenery, I took an internet class and happened upon this website.  Now I visit almost daily - it was a real incentive for me to learn more about using the internet and its opportunites.  Bring on the DVD version - I'm ready!
