: : Donna and I are going to continue our pursuit of the F&I War by visiting the "Grand Encampment of the French and Indian War" at Fort Ticonderoga (Carillon) this weekend.  It's a re-enactment so we'll get to see more redcoats and buckskins, plus, I suppose, some bluecoats and some leatherstockings.  And more long rifles.  Soldier #2, don't you wish you were coming too? 

: : We'll stop at Fort William Henry first, since it was closed when we met there last October, and we hope to go to Glens Falls afterwards.

: : We're hoping to meet "Clabair" there but he seems reluctant ... you know how it is, meeting people you've only contacted through  the internet! Scary stuff!!  But you Gatherers will vouch for us, won't you?  And I suppose someone will vouch for Clabair?

: : He did send along a URL for his website, and if you haven't seen it, it's interesting and very well done.
