: I'm sitting at work, catching just a few quick posts ( yeah right, ALL of them) and come across your funny rememberings. I am rolling in the floor laughing, thinking of how you parted from Cecelia and Me and others and headed UP the stupid hilly parking lot (not down) to a racy little number of a truck (at least half the size of Eric's and without fifteen other people STILL sitting in the bed of the truck) **still trying to compose myself** and try the door handle, look inside the "heavily tinted" windows and alas -- No Sharon! At that point you paused (thinking "OH my God, how many people saw me do that") and very calmily proceeded back down the hill to the appropriate REALLY BIG TRUCK and a quiet explanation to a few. Then I read the part about us laughing at our Mama and am overcome with guilt (NOT).
: Really, we were just laughing with you! Thanks for the Monday am laugh. Just one more of those great memories
Oh, SURE, DIANA!! Make me even more SENILE than I already am!! I don't even know the difference between up and down!! Well, I have to admit you're right...it was UP the hill I trudged & back DOWN the hill I had to shamefully return! Getting OLD is really a drag! ;o) As for laughing at your Mama, you can bet if YOU had made that same silly journey for the same dumb reason, your MAMA would have been laughing her head off at YOU!! If we can't laugh at ourselves, then what's the point of going on? You may laugh at me & WITH me any time the opportunity arises, and I hope that's OFTEN, as laughter is good for the soul! And embarrassing Senior Moments are always good for a giggle, eh? tee and also hee
Your Crazy Mohican Mama,
MMMM
